It is November, 30th 1944. Your B-17 bomber has been hit by flak during a bomb run on over Germany. With only two engines left returning to England is not an option. We’ll be recreating the true story of downed aircrews in Nazi-occupied territory-and we’ll recreate it as authentically as we can. You’ll have a survival kit and emergency rations similar to 1944 Army issue. Do you have what it takes to evade capture and survive behind enemy lines?
Operation: Dauntless Eagle is your chance to find out.
This event starts Friday at 1830 (6:30pm) and ends Sunday at 1300 (1:00pm). You’ll be instructed in several courses, including the following:
Tenets of Leadership: Develop your understanding of Biblical masculine leadership.
Wilderness Survival: Forge and find food & water, build a shelter, start a fire without modern tools
Search and Rescue Techniques: How to be found when you want to be.
Concealment: How to avoid being found when you don’t want to be.
Endurance: Test your fortitude. Food will be scarce this weekend.
NOTE: Hunger is a teaching tool. You’ll be dirty, tired, and hungry this weekend. We are recreating the true story WWII aircrews.
The location of our training events are only disclosed to registered participants, use Decatur, TX as an approximate location for drive time and weather estimations.
Legionary. More on that here.
You don’t need to be a “super-athlete” to successfully complete the course. Men complete our courses from a spectrum of physical abilities: triathletes to couch potatoes to men over 40. If you man up, show up, and give us your best effort we won’t leave you behind. That being said, your life will be much easier if you can meet these suggested metrics:
Push-Ups: 40 reps in two minutes
Sit-Ups: 45 reps in two minutes
1.5 Mile Run: 13:30 minutes
3 Mile Ruck: (45 lbs) 50:00 minutes

No one said surviving was easy. So here’s a disclaimer:
IN ORDER TO ATTEND THIS EVENT YOU MUST BE 18+ & A UNITED STATES CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT
This training is designed to closely replicate a military survival environment and will be demanding physically, emotionally and intellectually. The course requires attention to detail, failure in this could result in a fair amount of sweat leaving your body. You should be prepared to walk through the wild up to ten miles with equipment. You will experience high levels of stress and fatigue which you will be expected to manage successfully. The training will be a mix of lectured subject matter accompanied by hands-on training.
The training involves inherently dangerous, and potentially life-threatening activities. We have put safety measures in place; however, you should not attend if you are currently ill; have known head, neck, or back injuries; heart disease; or are unable to travel through the woods on foot. Please judge your physical fitness level accordingly.
You don’t need to be a member of the military to succeed during this weekend. We will teach all skills necessary.
